Castle Canoe Club Membership

Membership is based on a pro rata system with
our membership year beginning in June.
Annual membership is currently set at £36,
see the table below for the quarterly break down.

Membership is open to anyone aged 18 or over
and there is a 50% discount for students
and the unemployed.

There is no charge for your first visit to the club

Members are also required to act as Duty Officer once or twice per year. Click here for more info on Duty.

As a member you are entitled to:

- free access to the club facilities during club sessions on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings.

- free use of the equipment during club sessions. This includes kayaks, buoyancy aids, paddles etc.

- hire club equipment at reasonable rates for evenings or weekends away .

- take part in club trips, for example to the Nene
or Nottingham Whitewater Centres, or the Dee
or Tryweryn rivers in North Wales.

When visiting the club please remember to bring a change of clothes (including footwear) and a towel. Lockers are available and require a 20p piece which is not returned.
